I am the girl who has jumped off the deep end and fallen in love with fashion. I love prancing around town in an outfit that fits my body and personality. You can find me on the clearance racks of H&M and Express (two of my fav stores) and at your local thrift store. I love fashion but not breaking my pockets, so I’m always on the hunt for deals and steals!

I am a lover of all things fabulous and fashionable (but affordable). In my former life I was either a major diva or sensational drag queen. Not quite sure of which one, but my love of MAC make-up, accessories, music, hair and need to overly exaggerate has followed me to this life. I am a chameleon, so my style and hair is always changing to fit my multiple personalities. I am a reality/sitcom TV and celebrity gossip junkie as well.

Hello Dapper Dolls!
It is graduation season and everyone wants to be in style, whether they are crossing the stage or supporting graduates from the audience. You all know how much I LOVE thrifting and yesterday, May 8th I pulled a fantastic 90% thrifted outfit together.
Due to the weather my initial blazer and dress combo was denied, so I updated my outfit to a yellow silk blazer, printed blouse, and black high waist pants. All of these items were purchased from Goodwill. I also wore a gold statement necklace purchased from a local consignment shop paired with gold and turquoise earrings purchased from Goodwill.
I LOVED this outfit. I really liked how the yellow blazer complemented my crème and turquoise printed blouse. I simply felt good in the ensemble and that is the epitome of personal style.
Congratulations to my cousin Auriel Holman for receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro!
Auriel wore a sleeveless black and white color block dress and black peep-toe sling back heels. I think she looked absolutely FAB, don’t you?

Reality star Kim Kardashian cannot seem to incorporate her pregnancy into her outfit choices. Making a first time appearance at fashion’s biggest night, the Met Gala, Kim Kardashian donned a floral print Givenchy dress by Riccardo Tisci. This year’s theme was “Punk: From Chaos to Couture.” Kim explains her take on punk is a little different than others.
"I think mine and Riccardo's version of punk for me is probably not the mohawk typical punk that you would really envision," Kim explained to Vouge.com.
While I appreciate Kim’s efforts, she clearly missed the mark. Can dark floral prints be incorporated into Punk? Absolutely, but being that far along in pregnancy you must be cautious of prints. Big prints can make you seem larger than what you are. Not to mention the dress was just absolutely horrendous next to a very dapper Kanye West.
Below is an example of an outfit I put together that Kim could have worn or at least something similar.
Take note to the ruched black dress. The ruching helps to cover trouble areas and black gives a slimmer appearance. Since Kim isn’t really into punk rock, she could have put the emphasis on the accessories. For instance the shoes and the clutch are both from high fashion designers, yet they integrate edge with the spiked detail. The half palm gloves include a touch of leather yet still remaining sophisticated. Add a statement necklace to bring some attention to the neckline and face, not to the stomach. Finally Kim's traditional smokey eye and a dark lip would have easily help her follow the theme and look elegant as well.
What do you think? Can you see Kim Kardashian in this look? Let us know!
From embellished and regal to creative and eye catching, The Kentucky Derby is sure to deliver when it comes to outlandish hats. While some women brought a sophisticated chic to complement their high fashion hats, some women completely missed the mark. Take a look at the slideshow to determine which hat was your favorite!
