Wow! A lot of people have already found my cache! The first person found it an hour after it was published on Geocaching.com. Here's one of the log entries:
After the head's up in The Daily Dave and the hint a couple weeks ago I knew exactly what we were looking for. TFTC!
You may have no idea what this is all about. It's called Geocaching, and it's a treasure hunt. I put a "cache" near the Leesville Library in North Raleigh -- all the details are here. The hint is the picture above. Follow your GPS into the woods, and when you see those crazy roots, you're pretty much at ground zero. Good luck!

In an effort to prove that the game Monopoly still exists, Hasbro will let you eliminate one of their classic game pieces. Hook up with the Hasbro Monopoly Facebook page and vote who should go: The battleship, the Iron, the Racecar, the Dog, the Thimble, the Top Hat, or the Wheelbarrow.
What will replace the loser? Possibilities include a robot, guitar, helicopter, cat, or diamond ring.
What else would be a good game piece that represents 2013? A tiny iPhone? A tiny Kim Kardashian?

3 diet myths...busted
Before you give up on your New Years resolution to lose weight and stay fit, here are a couple diet MYTHS...
No sweets before noon
Wrong. A study last March found people who ate a big breakfast that included dessert lost more weight over a four month period than a group with a low-carb meal. Why? Indulgence early may prevent it later.
Workout as long as possible
The more you exercise, the more you'll eat concluded a Danish study last September. If you workout for a long period of time, be careful of how much you eat.
Carbs lead to weight gain
Last April, a study concluded that those who ate a low-calorie diet high in whole wheat lost more fat than a group that ate a low-calorie diet high in refined wheat. Why? Because the extra fiber in whole grains was more filling.

Steve lived in Stated Island, NY and worked in Manhattan. He had to take the ferry home every night. One evening, he got sown to the ferry and found there was a wait for the next boat, so Steve decided to stop at a nearby tavern. Before long he was felling no pain. When he got back to the ferry slip, the ferryboat was just eight feet from the dock. Steve. Afraid of missing this one and being late for dinner, took a running leap and landed right on the deck of the boat. “How did you like that jump, buddy?” said a proud Steve to a deck hand. “It was great,” said the sailor. “But why didn’t you wait? We were just pulling in!”
