Wow! A lot of people have already found my cache! The first person found it an hour after it was published on Geocaching.com. Here's one of the log entries:
After the head's up in The Daily Dave and the hint a couple weeks ago I knew exactly what we were looking for. TFTC!
You may have no idea what this is all about. It's called Geocaching, and it's a treasure hunt. I put a "cache" near the Leesville Library in North Raleigh -- all the details are here. The hint is the picture above. Follow your GPS into the woods, and when you see those crazy roots, you're pretty much at ground zero. Good luck!

A new study discovered that...gulp...teachers are human. Teachers base part of a student's grade on their personal feelings for the child.
Yes, it pays to be the teacher's pet.
The grades given to students by 2,000 teachers were double checked by specially trained external moderators. They discovered that 10% of the time, teachers had marked the work too favorably. Too harshly 5% of the time. Most of the moderators thought the teacher's personal feelings played too big of a role in the grades assigned.
The moderator also discovered that teachers gave more favorable grades to children with neater handwriting and provided longer stories.
Kids these days...
A new study pretty much proves the younger generation needs to be put in 'time out'.
Today's 18 to 34 year olds are rude.
They're less likely to say hello to neighbors or open the door for the elderly than those over 55. They are 23% less likely to carry out common courtesies than the over-55's.
So what's going on? A psychiatrist says they're way too plugged into their iPads and iPhones. "People are now more concerned for themselves and less concerned for other people," he added.
Emma Watson got incredibly upset when security at JFK in NYC thought she was a child. She's 22. Here's her Twitter rant.

Justin Bieber will host and be the musical guest on the February 9 edition of Saturday Night Live.. It's Bieber's first time hosting, though he performed on the show in 2010. I predict at least one marijuana skit and a sneak appearance by Selena Gomez.
Matthew McConaughey, whose wife Camila Alves gave birth to their newborn son Livingston just over a week ago, explains their third child's name. Ready for this? "It just means Livingston, actually," says Matthew. "There's not a big history behind it."
